DESCRIPTION:Meeting at Historic Rittenhouse Town. \nAre you free this day? Do you want to help out the Wissahickon Watershed? Then join us for this very exciting service day! With the help of Philadelphia Parks & Recreation\, we will be closing Lincoln Drive (the only main road that runs right next to the creek within Wissahickon Valley Park) from Wissahickon Avenue down to Ridge Avenue for a large-scale litter clean-up! Come help us make this often travelled section of the park cleaner! The event will be cancelled in inclement weather.\nBe sure to wear sturdy footwear and long pants\, and bring a water bottle with you. Detailed information and the specific meeting location will be sent by email the day before the event.
