DESCRIPTION:Neighborhood Businesses + Art Galleries + Artists = an enjoyable evening for the community to explore\, be inspired\, and connect.\n\n\nWe are stoked to start this monthly event Germantown wide! We are partnering with Neighborhood Businesses+ Art Galleries + Artists to create an enjoyable evening for the community to explore\, be inspired\, and connect. Our goal with this event is to bring peace in the streets\, offer more visibility to the neighborhood storefronts /talent\, and grow our community. \nArtists of all levels will be at the top of Maplewood Mall selling and showcasing their art! \nStorefronts will have markers in front of their business to share the the block they are participating with an offer to engage in for neighbors.  \nMaps will be handdrawn by local artist\, Logan Grant. It will contain specific details of each participants’ address\, hours\, and offering. A digital copy of the map will be available as well for neighbors to follow on their device and will contain updated information if needed. \nIf you are interested in being on the Map! – fill out this form.  \nIf you are a health and wellness business who doesnt have a storefront in GTown and would like to participate\, join d’griot’s Afro-Garden Party that will be happening on First Fridays as well.

SUMMARY:Germantown Community Beautification Project!
DESCRIPTION:Save the date\, September 16th! We will collab with FIVE other Philadelphia-based community organizations to clean up Germantown!\n\n\nThis is a community event aimed to bring together SIX Philadelphia-based organizations to empower members to take action. Groups like We Are Talking Trash Inc\, We Are Smart 2\, Helping Special Friends Inc\, Men Who Care\, G-Town Radio\,  and others will gather to aid in a community clean-up the underpass of 5799 Magnolia st\, where heaps of trash are illegally dumped regularly. This is only one of the many clean-ups that will happen in Germantown and we need your help to substantially make a change in this city.  \nThe clean-up will begin around 11am and we will provide refreshments\, tools and supplies to aid the process. All you have to do is show up! See you there!
