DESCRIPTION:In-person at Doran Hall\, Springside Chestnut Hill Academy 8000 Cherokee Street Philadelphia\, PA 19118 \nJoin Friends of the Wissahickon in person on Wednesday\, January 31\, for its Annual Public Projects Meeting to hear about the organization’s upcoming plans and projects to conserve our community’s treasured Wissahickon Valley Park. \nFOW’s Executive Director\, Ruffian Tittmann will review last year’s improvements and the status of current and planned projects\, including the Valley Green Run Restoration and Pedestrian Bridge Project. Director of Field Stewardship Shawn Green will share FOW’s volunteer achievements from 2023 as well as how to get involved in 2024. Capital Projects Manager\, Pauline Berkowitz will discuss the ongoing Germantown Neighborhood Connection\, the East Falls Reroute and Habitat Restoration projects\, and the Restroom Facilities Master Plan.
