DESCRIPTION:Come build a forward-looking vision for art\, culture and creativity in NW Philly!\n\n\nSince its founding in 1953\, Allens Lane Art Center has been a cornerstone of the Mt. Airy community by bringing residents together through joyful and transformative experiences in the arts. Art Forward emerged from the Center’s desire to reconnect with the NW Philly communities and to define the next chapter of programming in collaboration with our neighbors. \nLet’s know and grow together! Your voice will help decide how arts and culture can grow in NW Philly. Through your stories\, we will build connections\, reimagine systems\, and collective possibilities for a more connected\, supported neighborhood through art\, culture and creative expression. \nThis event is free\, with food\, percussionist accompaniment\, trained facilitators\, and of course\, your stories! This event will be at Center in the Park\, in Germantown. Free parking is available on site.  \nAnd don’t miss a free portrait session at the event with artist/photographer Naomieh Jovin!
