DESCRIPTION:VU PHL is partnering with Klean Kensington and Walls for Justice to beautify the lot\n\n\nKlean Kensington‘s mission is to empower teens through beautifying their blighted surroundings and engaging them with neighborhood-uplifting work. Klean Kensington focuses on the areas of financials\, career\, civic\, social-emotional and spiritual. \nWhat we will be doing: \nIn partnership with Klean Kensington and Walls for Justice\, up to 20 VU volunteers will clean streets/alleyways\, weeding gardens\, potentially painting fences . Please arrive 10 minutes early for check-in. \nNotes ahead of the event! \nVU will email a waiver for you to sign once that has been finalized. Please be sure to sign the waiver prior to the event! \nParking & Transportation \n\nParking: Esperanza Health Center’s Parking Garage – we highly suggest carpooling!\n\n\nNearby bus routes: We recommend using the trip planner to make it easier to find frequent options\n\nA note about cancellations: \nIf your schedule changes and you can no longer make it\, please email volunteeringuntappedphl@gmail.com ASAP to let us know.
