Help us plant vegetable seedlings and prep the garden for a prolific season. Nearly all of the food grown in the Walnut Street Community Garden is donated. Your participation supports resilient food systems and increases food access in our region. \nNo green thumb required – we provide all materials and training. It’s a great way to meet new people\, enjoy the outdoors\, and make a positive impact on our local community. \nPlease note this event is limited to attendees ages 12 and older.

DESCRIPTION:Join us as we plant out summer crops at the Walnut Street Community Garden\n\n\nJoin us as we plant summer crops like tomatoes\, peppers\, squash\, cucumber\, eggplants and more in the Walnut Street  Community Garden! This garden will be maintained with the help of our SEED Skills participants – young people ages 12-18 who will be learning to garden over the course of the summer. \nTrellis for Tomorrow will provide everything you need – seedlings\, gloves and trowels. \nIf you live nearby and are interested in receiving produce over the summer\, feel free to stop by and say hi!
