SUMMARY:Water Week: Sunnyside Guided Hike
DESCRIPTION:Join the City of Lancaster and the Lancaster Conservancy as we explore the Sunnyside Peninsula and floodplain!\n\n\nJoin the City of Lancaster and Lancaster Conservancy as we explore this urban gem! As we hike around the peninsula\, we’ll explore plants\, trees\, and wildlife\, discuss the historical uses of the area as well as future plans to protect and enhance the site. Bring a water bottle and hiking shoes and get ready to explore the largest natural area in the city that you’ve never seen! \nNote: These trails are not open to the public. \nWhat to Expect: This hike will be approximately 2 miles on uneven terrain. This event is recommended for ages 10 and up (participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult). There is no restroom available on site. \nWhere to Meet: Please meet in the parking area for the Conestoga Greenway Trail https://maps.app.goo.gl/EDTVFbpNbEzezyNB6 \nWhat to Bring: Wear comfortable closed toe shoes or boots for hiking. \nRefund Policy: If you are unable to attend this event after purchasing a ticket\, refund requests must be made at least 48 hours before the event. \nAnimal Policy: Service animals active or in training are welcome. Please leave all pets at home. \nCancellation Policy: This event will be held rain or shine\, with cancellation for severe weather made at the time of the event. If the Conservancy reschedules the event\, attendees will be emailed and tickets will be automatically moved to the new date.
