SUMMARY:VU PHL & The Everywhere Project
DESCRIPTION:Join The Everywhere Project and Volunteer Untapped Philadelphia to distribute hot food\, water\, and clothing in Kensington.\n\n\nJoin The Everywhere Project and Volunteer Untapped Philadelphia on Saturday\, Nov. 9th at Ruth & Clearfield\, where hot food\, water\, clothing\, and harm reduction supplies will be provided to the Kensington community. \nThere will be a Harm Reduction and Wound Care station\, and volunteers with medical training can opt-in for this station. \nAdditionally\, depending on the number of volunteers\, The Everywhere Project may organize mobile teams and clean-up crews. Volunteers interested in these roles should be willing to receive naloxone training. \nSeveral Everywhere Project team members will be there to assist and answer any questions along the way. \nWhat we will be doing on 11/9: \nWe will be supporting a community outreach event in Kensington: \n\nSetting up tables and supplies\nDistributing food\, clothing\, and harm reduction supplies\nBreaking down and cleaning up\n\nAdditional Details: \n\nWe will be outside. Dress appropriately.\nVolunteers must RSVP for the event on The Everywhere Projects Volunteer Page. This RSVP form is not available as of 10/19. The link will be shared with all registered volunteers.\n\nA fterjawn at Kensignton Pub! \nWe’ll all head to Kensington Pub (2116 E Tioga St Phila\, PA) around 4pm to celebrate a job well done! It’s a great chance to get to know the VU Crew and celebrate the good work we’re all doing together!
