DESCRIPTION:Volunteer with your Philly B friends and support Farmer Jawn’s new location in  West Chester!\n\n\nSome of us had the opportunity to meet Christa and learn about her new farm in West Chester at the B Champion’s retreat. If you aren’t familiar you can learn about her great work here: FarmerJawnfollows regenerative farming practices that concentrate on soil health and increasing access to organic food to marginalized communities \nFarmerJawn is looking for help preparing for a seasonal transition. We’ll be helping with harvesting and with general field maintenance tasks like weeding\, and preparing for a seasonal transition.  Come in farm clothes and bring any of the following that you can:  weed wackers\, hedge trimmers\, shovels\, garden trowels\, shears/pruners\, hand tillers.  \nPlease share with family/friends – we’d like to make a good showing for Christa! (Please RSVP all who plan to come so we have an idea of approximate numbers. \nWe’ll reach out via registration emails if there’s a change of plans due to weather. \nIf you cannot make it\, please consider other ways you can support FarmerJawn – sign up for their newsletter or shop online or volunteer another time!
