This free community walk is the perfect opportunity to unwind\, connect with nature\, and focus on your well-being. Whether you’re looking to de-stress\, get some exercise\, or enjoy the beauty of the Willows Park with your fellow community members\, this walk is open to all. \nThe Wellness Walk will consist of a 1-mile family-friendly guided walk through the Willows Park. This will start and end in the paved Willows Mansion courtyard\, beginning promptly at 1:00pm. This is a free community event\, and all ages are welcome to join! Registration via Eventbrite is appreciated. \nThis Wellness Walk is scheduled in conjunction with the Wellness Fair kickoff event (12pm-3pm) for Wellness Week at the Willows. We welcome you to arrive early or stick around after the walk to browse our health and wellness resource vendors\, sign up for free wellness classes\, or grab a bite to eat from the food truck. DESCRIPTION:Join us for an evening of classical piano music at the Willows Mansion\, performed by Jennifer Yue.\n\n\nJoin us for an evening of classical piano music at the Willows Mansion\, performed by Jennifer Yue. We’ll hear works by Beethoven\, Fanny Mendelssohn\, Grieg and Chopin. \nDoors open for light refreshments at 5:30pm. Performance begins at 6:00pm. Located at the Willows Mansion\, 490 Darby-Paoli Road\, Villanova PA. \nAbout the pianist: \nJennifer Yue was four when she started lessons with her mother Noel Yue\, who studied with Marcus Gordon\, a student of Josef Lehvinne. At twelve\, Jennifer was accepted into the Juilliard Pre-College program as a scholarship student of Kathryn Parker\, past student of Rosina Lehvinne. Jennifer had winnings at multiple competitions such as the International Young Keyboard Competition\, the NY State Federation Music Club\, and the Friday Music Club Piano Competition. At the Columbia University-Juilliard School joint program\, Jennifer studied the arts and continued piano with Martin Canin\, also trained by Rosina Lehvinne. Although Jennifer plays on a different set of ivory whites during the day (she is a dentist working in Paoli)\, it is with great pleasure that she continues to play the piano for herself and you. This program highlights classical pieces that showcase the lyrical singing voice of the piano that the Lehvinne couple passed on to their many students\, creating various musical paintings and atmospheres.
