SUMMARY:Sunday City Cruise
DESCRIPTION:Get ready to cruise to skyline views of our City of Brotherly Love via bicycle!\n\n\nThis will be a casual\, no-drop city cruise for anyone comfortable with riding on some secondary city roads (most with bike lanes) as well as the SRT.   The route will be ~20 miles with a few city hills where we will wait at the top of each climb to re-group.  The goal is to roll out by 12:15pm so please arrive at the shop by 11:45-12pm to ensure you leave with the group. Refreshments will be at the shop after – road/gravel/hybrid bikes welcome!

This ride is for experienced women road cyclist at a B/C/No Drop pace – we ride together!\n\n\nTrek Bicycle Manayunk and Jenna Foley joyfully invite you to a women’s only road ride! \n The purpose of this ride series is to have fun\, build confidence\, and create community for our fellow women in the Philly cycling scene and we can’t wait to meet you all! \nThe 15-20 mile route will be sent out two days before the event so that you can download it.  Helmets and lights are required\, especially since the sun begins to set as we wrap up the ride.  \nMeet at the shop at 5:30pm and we will roll out promptly at 6pm; pre-ride refreshments will be provided!

Check out which stores are participating in this ride: \n\nTrek Ardmore\nTrek Cherry Hill\nTrek Philadelphia Center City\nTrek Spring House\nTrek Valley Forge\n\nLet’s glow! Get in the holiday spirit with our Holiday Lights Ride. This holiday-themed group ride will be at a casual\, no-drop pace and enjoyable for all riders and skill levels. \nW hat to expect \nRide starts and ends at the Philadelphia Canoe Club directly across from the Fairmount Park trail head at the confluence of Ridge and Main Streets. Ample parking on site. (Detailed parking directions on the Canoe Club’s website). \nWe’ll gather at the club before the ride for check in and after the ride for festivities. \nCostumes encouraged–there will be prizes. Santas\, ugly sweaters\, naughty elves…bring the holiday heat! \nWe will ride for a 10 mile round trip on a multi-use gravel path and flat terrain. Easy turn around options available if you’re not up to the full 10 miles. \nAnd\, of course\, no holiday ride would be complete without a festive beverage and songs— so meet up back at the Canoe Club after the ride for a toast with new friends. \nDon your helmets (they’re required) and lots of lights. This is gonna be lit!
