Parents may only accompany their child provided there is extra space but should not register themselves. Due to the size of the studio\, parents should not plan on sitting with their child through this class. \nPlease submit age of child. when filling the form out. If you do not wish your child to be photographed\, please tell the teacher directly. \nKids Club drop off and pick up: If your child is dropped off by a parent guardian\, we expect that they will be picked up by the same person when the class ends unless you explicitly tell us otherwise\, for example: being picked up by another person or if the child/children is permitted to walk home. You do not need to have taken classes at the LAB to partcipate.Mural Arts Philadelphia Tacony LAB Community Art Center is inviting artists from Northeast Philadelphia artists to exhibit their artwork at a Community Art Show. The exhibit will take place from April 10th to April 24th 2026. There is no charge to participate and all art media are welcome to apply. Light refreshments will be provided. \nThe Sunflower Farm at Pennypack\, powered by Heroic Gardens\, is a vibrant community space where U.S. Veterans\, families\, and neighbors come together to grow\, heal\, and connect. What began as a vacant lot is now a flourishing landscape of sunflowers\, fresh produce\, and shared purpose—offering Veterans a restorative\, horticultural-therapy–informed environment while creating a welcoming\, beautiful gathering place for the entire community. DESCRIPTION:The Tacony LAB free workshop series at Glen Foerd!\n\n\nJoin the crew from the Tacony LAB Community Art Center for a card making workshop. We will have pop up cards featuring the fireplaces of Glen Foerd\, and cards for Valentines day! \nThis event will take place on location at Glen Foerd\, a hidden treasure in Northeast Philadelphia on the Delaware River about 10 minutes drive from the Tacony LAB. This event is cohosted with Glen Foerd and your registration information will be shared with Glen Foerd. \nRegistration is recommended\, but not required for this workshop. \nWalk-ins are welcome! \nTacony LAB Class Enrollment and Attendance Policy \nThe Tacony LAB’s classes are unique in Philadelphia: we do not charge tuition or any sort of fees for any of our classes. \nOur classes are popular and often have wait-lists. If you enroll in a class\, please commit to attending it! \nHow to enroll in a Tacony LAB class: \n• You may enroll IN PERSON at the LAB beginning 3 weeks before a class first meets. DESCRIPTION:Join us at the Tacony LAB Community Art Center for a celebration of making things.\n\n\nJoin us at the Tacony LAB for a celebration of making things. Our monthly first Fridays celebrate art in a different way each month. Come February 6th for a make and take extravaganza! We’ll be offering wooden laser cut characters to paint\, screen printed tote bags and button making. \nRegistration is appreciated but not required to help us plan. Light refreshments will be provided. \nTacony LAB Community Arts Center\, a program of Mural Arts Philadelphia\, is a community art center funded by the City of Philadelphia located in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. At the Tacony LAB\, providing accessible and free art is a priority. It offers free classes for adults and children\, ranging from fiber arts to drawing\, painting\, crafting\, and more. It also provides a safe and inclusive space to work on your projects while receiving support from attending artists and staff.
