There\, in disguise\, she must teach the lovesick Orlando how to woo her\, along with her skeptical best friend\, a wise and witty fool\, two lovelorn Shepherds\, and a cast of quirky and dramatic characters. Follow Rosalind and her friends down the woodland path at the Schuylkill center\, sing songs with troubadours\, picnic with lost courtiers\, help Orlando write terrible love poetry\, and help everyone find true love in this interactive production where you are a part of the story! \nTickets \nAs You Like It will be performed at the Schuylkill Center on these dates: Friday\, July 10\, Saturday\, July 11\, Friday\, July 17 and Saturday\, July 18. A Schuylkill Center Member exclusive performance will take place on Thursday\, July 9. \nIndecorous Theater: At Indecorous Theatre Productions our mission is to take away the gated community feel from the Classics and make them accessible and available to the people for which they were written. These stories are for everyone and for today. They still resonate and grow and change. Using the beauty of these texts that have beaten time we want to tell new stories with new bodies and open up the conversation. Because at the end of the day\, this work\, these words\, and art is about real people and all the diversity and change and indecorous energy real people create.

We’ve invited guests\, partners\, staff\, and friends to build their own fairy houses\, using natural materials of course\, and put them up in a neighborhood of their choosing along the path. Submissions will be installed the day before\, and the winner (by popular vote) will be announced the following week. Everybody who attends the festival will have an opportunity to see this collaboratively built fantasy land. \n\n\n\nPartners and Performers\nCheck back soon for our growing list of special guests!\nIndecorous Theater: At Indecorous Theatre Productions our mission is to take away the gated community feel from the Classics and make them accessible and available to the people for which they were written. \nCity Circle Labyrinths: City Circle Labyrinths brings the creative and meditative experience of walking labyrinths to schools and community centers in Philadelphia. \n\nFood\, Drinks\, and Treats\nPink’s Cold Treats                                1984 Cakes                              \n\nVendors\n\nComing soon! \n\nVolunteer!\nPhilly Fairy Festival is looking for volunteers to help support this fantasy celebration of nature and all the magic that comes with it. SUMMARY:Adult Restorative Retreat
DESCRIPTION:Prepare yourself for the holiday season by releasing stress at the Schuylkill Center during the Fall Adult Restorative Retreat. Enjoy an evening in the outdoors with activities to refresh the mind\, body\, and spirit. We’ll start with a family-style dinner\, outdoor exploration\, mindfulness practice with certified Mindful Outdoor Guide Molly Frieberg\, and finally an informative and fun cocktail hour. \nAbout Molly Frieberg:\nMolly Freiberg\, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker\, the owner of Inhabit & Rise\, her private therapy practice in Philadelphia. She trained at the Kripalu School of Mindful Outdoor Leadership to become a certified Mindful Outdoor Guide and studied at the Gestalt Training Institute of Philadelphia. In other lives she’s been a Forest Kindergarten teacher and a land trust employee. Currently she loves offering in-person\, virtual\, and walk-and-talk therapy out in nature\, training therapists and counselors about mindfulness in nature\, supervising MSW students at SUNY Albany\, and guiding Mindful Nature Walks and events throughout the area. \nFrom Molly: “What we will do with our time together starts with the question: What’s an early memory of being connected with the natural world? Some have shared feeling joyous and free. Others say they’ve experienced curiosity and vitality. Yet most admit losing that connection over the years. In times of high stress\, loneliness\, despair\, and endless screen time\, we can connect to the natural world for restoration\, wellness\, and belonging. Studies show that time in nature can reduce anxiety\, depression\, attentional difficulties\, and loneliness. It can improve creativity\, memory\, and the immune system while restoring an embodied sense of awe. My deepest wish is for us all to remember our place in the family of nature\, recalling we are always knitted into a reciprocal web of life and worth. In our practice together\, we will take a breath\, open our senses\, let go of all but the present moment\, and saunter slowly through the woods with fresh eyes.” \n$20 for Schuylkill Center Members\n$30 for Non-Members \nLearn more about becoming a Schuylkill Center Member. \nSign Up

SUMMARY:Clinic Cleaners
DESCRIPTION:Clinic Cleaners are volunteers who help us maintain a neat and tidy space for our patients at the Wildlife Clinic. \nWildlife rehabilitation can be messy work\, and volunteers foster a healthy environment by assisting with laundry\, sweeping floors\, and cleaning the lobby. This allows our expert staff to focus more time on caring for the thousands of animals that the Wildlife Clinic cares for every year. \nRegistration Required \nCleaning materials and personal protective equipment\, such as gloves and masks\, are provided. Volunteers should wear clothing they don’t mind getting dirty (yes\, that includes animal waste) and sturdy closed-toe shoes. Clinic Cleaners will not be working directly with animals or have access to patient areas. Clinic Cleaners must be at least 18 years old to sign up. Due to limited space\, we are unable to accept walk-ins.
