DESCRIPTION:Come out to Cherry Street Pier on the night of Thursday\, October 17th to help raise money for Cerfplus.org. Enjo happy hour specials and art\n\n\nI’m excited to invite you to A Night for Asheville\, a special event to benefit CERF+ (The Crafters Emergency Fund) on Thursday\, October 17\, from 6-9 PM at Cherry Street Pier. \nPhiladelphia’s local artists will be auctioning their work to provide crucial grant funding for artists in Asheville\, NC\, who lost their studios and artwork in the recent catastrophic flooding. As a fellow artist\, I can’t imagine such a loss\, and I’m proud to see the Philadelphia art community come together in support on such short notice. \nIf you are an artists who wishes to donate 50% of the sale price of their auctioned work\, please apply\, we will be accepting work up until the morning of October 17. Volunteers are also needed to help make the event a success. Business are contributing in-kind donations and setting up a vendor booths (with a donation to CERF+)\, please feel free to contact jscott@patriceandassociates.com if you would like more information or to reserve a space. \nThank you for considering your involvement\, and I hope to see many of you there in support of this important cause.
