DESCRIPTION:A multicultural celebration of youth creativity in dance and movement that highlights different cultural expressions all on one stage!\n\n\nOlney Culture Lab of CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia is excited to announce the Olney Youth Arts Festival will be back again in 2025! This multicultural celebration of youth creativity continues to focus on dance and movement by our young people. The event is designed to highlight different ethnic expressions towards cross-cultural awareness and to showcase the strength of various arts programs serving the children and youth in Philadelphia’s neighborhoods. \nThe vast array of dance featured will include: breaking\, hip hop\, salsa\, tap\, ballet\, modern\, ethnic folk dances\, among others. \nAnd who can forget the debut of A Taste of Olney in tandem with the festival last year! We plan on having an equally vibrant representation of foods both savory and sweet from restaurants and caterers from the neighborhood all throughout the day\, culminating with a dinner around 4 PM. \nLastly\, there will also be a resource fair at the event sharing valuable information for the community. \nMain support for this event is made possible through a generosity of the William Penn Foundation. Additional support includes Collins Shop Rite\, Forman Arts Initiative\, Philadelphia Foundation\, Pennsylvania Council on the Arts\, and Olney Community Collaborative\, with more forthcoming. \nWith almost 800 people in attendance last year\, event sponsorship inquiries can be made to olneyculturelab@gmail.com.

Let the rhythms of traditional Korean drumming move you as you relax in the natural environment. Bring your family and friends! \nWe’ll provide a light dinner featuring yummy Korean fried chicken and more! Attendees are welcome to bring lawn chairs or blankets. DESCRIPTION:A multicultural celebration of youth creativity in dance and movement that highlights different cultural expressions all on one stage!\n\n\nAfter almost four years away due to the pandemic\, Olney Culture Lab of CultureTrust Greater Philadelphia is excited to announce the return of our signature annual event –  Olney Youth Arts Festival! This multicultural celebration of youth creativity continues to focus on dance and movement by our young people. The event is designed to highlight different ethnic expressions towards cross-cultural awareness and to showcase the strength of various arts programs serving the children and youth in Philadelphia’s neighborhoods.   \nThe vast array of dance featured will include: breaking\, hip hop\, salsa\, capoeira\, ballet\, modern\, praise\, among others.   \nThere will also be a resource fair at the event sharing valuable information for the community. Lastly\, we plan on having a nice representation of foods both savory and sweet from restaurants and caterers from the neighborhood all throughout the day\, culminating with a dinner around 4 PM. \nMain support for this event is made possible through a generosity of the William Penn Foundation. Additional support includes Pennsylvania Council on the Arts\, Samuel Fels Funds\, City of Philadelphia’s Office of Arts\, Culture & the Creative Economy\, PECO\, Jefferson Health Plans\, North 5th Street Revitalization Project\, Motivos and Resolve Philly.
