An extension of the ASE is here in South Jersey\, Coastal Cousins in Atlantic County\, New Jersey. Greg Freelon\, the founder and executive director\, will be joining the discussion. \nCommunity seed saving and the work they do securing local culturally appropriate seeds will follow. And the morning session will conclude with how to save seeds\, including a discussion of a new product called Drying Beads. \nThe afternoon session kicks off with pollinator-friendly plants for your landscape\, including native plants. The day concludes with an introduction to plant breeding\, and how you can start to create new varieties and seeds from breeding plants in your own growing area. \nIf you attend in person\, lunch is brown bag or you can visit one of the local eateries. \nDon’t miss out on this unique event that celebrates the importance of preserving our plant heritage and promoting biodiversity.
