DESCRIPTION:Observe Saw Whet Owl Banding\n\n\nSave the Date for this fun family experience!   \n(This is the new date due to postponing 10/27/23) \nObserve Northern Saw-whet Owl banding at Rushton Farm and experience nature at night. These tiny owls (no bigger than a soda can) travel through Pennsylvania in the fall in search of ideal overwintering habitat. \nLearn all about their ecology and conservation from our field scientists\, and (hopefully) see an owl up-close. Limit 25 guests. \nVery Important Things to Remember: \nWe are in a place with heat\, running water\, etc. BUT\, if you want to see owls or go on a night hike\, bring appropriate boots\, layers\, and headlamps. \nPlease Note: \nArrival time is 6:30 and it will end at 11:30.  You do not need to stay the entire time.
