Contact Jess Provinski.\n\nOn the third Saturday of most months\, Watershed Restoration Coordinator Lamonte Garber hosts a volunteer day at Overlook Park to assist with general streamside buffer maintenance. Tasks include pulling weeds\, caring for tree seedlings\, and planting shrubs\, among others.    \nIf you are interested in attending\, please click the button below and complete the interest form. SUMMARY:Horticulture Volunteer Day
DESCRIPTION:Volunteers will support seasonal plantings\, weeding\, and invasive species removal. Please plan to meet at the Welcome Center promptly at 9:30 AM. Staff will separate groups and provide instructions and safety protocols for the day. Out of respect and safety for our staff and others\, please arrive on time. \nPLEASE NOTE: Capacity is limited\, and we rely on everyone who signs up to show up. Please reserve a spot only if you can attend. All participants must be pre-registered using link below. Each adult must register individually in order to complete the required waivers. \nRegistration full but would like to still participate? Please contact Kimani Keaton at kimani@bartramsgarden.org to be added to our waitlist. Parents/guardians must complete registration for individuals 18 and under. \nPlease also email Kimani immediately if you plan on cancelling your attendance\, so that we may make room for those on our waitlist. \nThank you! \nHealth reminders: We are in accordance with Pennsylvania and the City of Philadelphia’s current COVID-19 response levels.
