DESCRIPTION:Meeting on Northbound Cresheim Valley Drive across from Navajo Street (40°03’56.5″N 75°11’50.7″W)\nParking: There’s plenty of room to park on the shoulder of northbound Cresheim Valley Drive across from Navajo Street. Do not park on the southbound side.\nBathrooms: None \nWould you like to be part of keeping Wissahickon Valley Park beautiful and sustainable? Then join longtime Wissahickon steward FOW Volunteer David Bower\, Friends of the Cresheim Trail\, and our dedicated team of Crew Leaders and Trail Ambassadors for a variety of stewardship tasks! \nAll are welcome to attend\, and no experience is needed. We encourage attendees to work within their own comfort level\, and we always strive to accommodate needs on an individual basis. With that being said\, this service day may include the following activities: \n• Trail work: using long-handled tools for scraping\, digging\, tamping\, and cutting; moving heavy objects\n• Planting site maintenance: using long handled tools for cutting\, scraping\, and digging\n• Invasive plant removal: bending over\, using long handled tools for cutting vines\n• Litter clean-up \nWe provide gloves\, tools\, and instruction–you just need to show up!
