Come volunteer with Friends of the Wissahickon and our partner Gay for Good Philadelphia in stewarding the land around Monastery Stables! \nGay for Good mobilizes lesbian\, gay\, bisexual\, transgender\, queer (LGBTQ+) and ally volunteers to promote diversity\, foster inclusion and strengthen ties to the broader community\, and they facilitate welcoming\, inclusive service projects in support of a wide range of causes throughout Philly. \nAll are welcome to attend\, and no experience is needed. The only nearby transit is the 27 bus stop at Henry Ave and Wigard Ave\, a 15-minute hike from the Inn. See map for details.\nBathrooms: There will be bathroom access at the Valley Green Inn before we walk over to Devil’s Pool. \nWould you like to take part in keeping Wissahickon Valley Park beautiful and sustainable? Then join with Friends of the Wissahickon in cleaning up Devil’s Pool! \nAll are welcome to attend\, and no experience is needed.
