SUMMARY:Lights\, Camera\, Joy: A cinéSPEAK Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Film has the power to bring us together\, spark conversations\, and fuel movements for collective liberation and that’s exactly what cinéSPEAK is all about! \nWe’re inviting you to be part of this momentum: to gather\, celebrate\, learn\, and dream with us\, while fueling the future of community-centered cinema in Philly. \nOn Thursday\, December 4th\, from 6–9 pm\, we’re hosting an unforgettable evening with our beloved community at Forman Arts Initiative (2210 N. Philip Street\, Philadelphia PA 19133)\, an ADA accessible space. \nYou can expect an evening with a joyous and celebratory vibe: DJ\, mocktails and cocktails\, light bites\, short films\, and new merch. The dress code is happy hour cute! \nOver 70% of cinéSPEAK’s income goes directly into the hands of artists and cultural works; the rest supports the logistics to make it all happen. \nIf you’re unable to join us in person\, you can still support as you’re able\, whether it be $5\, $50\, or $500. \nTogether\, we’re shifting resources into the hands of cultural workers and creating spaces where collaboration\, mutual aid\, and joy are the foundation of survival and thriving. cinéSPEAK is part of a growing movement reimagining how art and culture fuel social change and we want you to join us. \nGeneral Admission (does not include open bar): $20 \nOpen Bar Ticket: $40 \nNote: All tickets include light bites. \nAccessibility questions? SUMMARY:LILI AÑEL IN COLLINGSWOOD
DESCRIPTION:Pianist Suzzette Ortiz proudly hosts “Jazz in the Wood\,” at the \nCollingswood Community Center\, \n30 Collings Ave\, Collingswood\, NJ 08108. \nPlease join us on December 4th\, 2025\, as we welcome Lili Añel and their group. \nDoors at 7pm. The concert starts at 7:30 pm and ends at 9:00 pm. \nTickets: $15 in advance\, $20 at the door. Students are FREE! \nAbout Lili:\nLili Añel considers music a calling. This striking six-foot tall singer-songwriter-musician grew up in New York City’s Spanish Harlem\, where she discovered her passion for music. As a child\, Lili remembers singing along to her mother’s Cuban\, jazz and pop-standard albums. It was also her mother who supported Lili’s desire to join the church choir. However\, it was her Afro-Cuban grandfather’s recognition of how much joy her singing brought others\, being the voice that stood out in that choir\, which served to set her feet firmly on the path of a career in music. \nAfter establishing a music career and a large following in New York in the vibrant 1980s Greenwich Village singer-songwriter scene\, she relocated to Philadelphia in 2004. It was from her new home base where she continued to move audiences with her songs\, now more jazz-inspired\, highlighting themes reflecting her hope for the future\, standing in her truth of life’s difficulties and conjuring the strength for perseverance. All delivered with that unique voice\, alternating between low reaches one feels in their center and a sweeter\, more vulnerable falsetto. \n“Think Joan Armatrading\, Joni Mitchell and Nina Simone all rolled into one…blurs the lines between Jazz\, Folk and intelligent Pop…strong and heartfelt.” – Ken Franckling’s Jazz Notes

SUMMARY:Martha Rich\, Keith W Greiman\, Eric Kenney\, Max Seckel Opening @ Paradigm
DESCRIPTION:Please join us as we unveil new collections from Martha Rich\, Keith Warren Greiman\, Eric Kenney\, and Max Seckel.\n\n\nMartha Rich: It’s Always Today \nParadigm Gallery + Studio is pleased to present It’s Always Today\, a solo exhibition of new paintings by Philadelphia-based artist Martha Rich. In a feast-for-the-eye display\, Rich will unveil over 200 speech bubbles\, animals\, and objects\, which illustrate the humor\, enthusiasm\, and attitude of the city and its inhabitants. In response to the current overwhelming landscape\, Rich chooses to highlight the positive resilience that continues to show up in her community every day\, represented in pithy quotes. \nPlease email info@paradigm-gallery.com to receive the Collector Preview for the upcoming exhibition It’s Always Today\, or submit your request HERE. \nIt’s Always Today will be on view on the first floor of Paradigm Gallery + Studio from December 5 – 28\, 2025. \nKeith Warren Greiman\, Eric Kenney\, and Max Seckel: No Garden \nParadigm Gallery + Studio is pleased to present No Garden\, an exhibition of illustrative paintings featuring the work of Keith Warren Greiman\, Eric Kenney\, and Max Seckel. As artists known for creating spontaneous environments marrying commotion and color\, Greiman\, Kenney\, and Seckel come together to ask the question\, “What is a garden?” Turning away from the manicured or disciplined\, these artists explore cultivation as a lived-in environment\, enhanced by the frenzy of humans and their wares. No Garden is a self-fulfilling prophecy of giving a dismal landscape a decorative title and accidentally manifesting the beauty that comes with the name. \nPlease email info@paradigm-gallery.com to receive the Collector Preview for the upcoming exhibition No Garden\, or submit your request HERE. \nAll artists will be in attendance with opportunities to view and collect artwork from 3 floors of the Paradigm Arts Building. \nThe reception is free and open to all. All artwork will be available to collect during the opening. Please email info@paradigm-gallery for any inquiries prior to the reception.

We will explore the beauty of Hildacy with a moving meditation connecting us to nature to soothe our souls.   \nFinish your morning with a sound bath with singing bowls played on and off the body for deep relaxation\, and grounding offered by certified vibrational sound practitioner Mindie Hung. The singing bowls grant the mind the opportunity to disconnect to turn inward.  \nAbout our instructors:   \nChristina Fittipoldi: Completed a 200-hour vinyasa yoga teacher training in May 2015 and began teaching a wide variety of asana movement at multiple studios. Eager to dive deeper\, she completed the 300-hour teacher training at Main Line Yoga Shala in December 2019 entitled “Agni Moksha.” She enjoys guiding students mindfully through safe and responsible movement using body and breath awareness\, allowing students to journey within.  \nMindie Hung: In 2017\, she became a certified vibrational sound therapy practitioner with the Vibrational Sound Association after her own healing journey began while experiencing the power of sound healing.
