In addition to touring the interior of the mansion and looking at works by past artists in residence\, walk the grounds and carriage house and learn about future plans for renovations and improvements. \nThe tour will be followed by a 30-minute Q&A in the sunroom. Artists may ask questions related to their application for the artist residency.

DESCRIPTION:SUITABLE FOR ADULTS AND TEENS AGES 15-17 \nExperience the magic of Tyler at night! \nJoin guide Dick Cloud on this hike under the light of the full moon. Hiking at night is a unique sensory experience. We will use our senses of hearing\, smell\, and touch to navigate the North Woods. We will observe the full moon as we walk through the meadows and more open areas of the Arboretum. Our guide will share points of special interest and seasonal highlights. We hope to see and hear some of the nocturnal wildlife that make a home at the Arboretum! \nThis moderately-paced hike is for adults and teens comfortable walking 2+ miles on uneven terrain. Bring a flashlight and wear sturdy hiking boots. All teens must be accompanied by an adult. \nThis program starts after Tyler’s closing hours. Gates will open 15 minutes before the program begins and close promptly 10 minutes after the start time\, so please be on time. Once you arrive and park\, please check in with the staff associate at the Visitor Center Patio\, where the group will gather. \nREGISTRATION CLOSES 2.5 HOURS BEFORE THE PROGRAM   \nPRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED \nMEMBERS: Adults: $5 each; Teens ages 15-17: $3 each (sign in for your discount!) \nNON-MEMBERS: Adults: $21 each; Teens ages 15-17: $13 each \nGUEST PASS HOLDERS (for non-member use only): Adult guests: $5 each; Teen guests: $3 each. Please give the Visitor Center Associate your guest passes at check-in. Registration required. Adults Only.\n\nSunset & Moonrise 4:37 p.m.\nOutdoors\, almost all weather.\n ~1.5 mile hike on  uneven\, rocky trails in the dark. No flashlights will be used on the hike. \n*﻿We cannot predict nature’s display of light or clouds\, so we cannot guarantee a clear view\, or any view of the full moon. You can however expect a beautiful evening in nature.*\nParking is available at the center with additional street parking.  \nThe center\, bathrooms\, and picnic areas are all accessible\, however\, the trails are rocky and uneven. \nThis is an all-weather\, outdoor program. Please dress for the weather and hiking.  \nPhotos will be taken of participants during this program for use by the Pennypack Environmental Center and Philadelphia Parks and Recreation.
