SUMMARY:A Meal to Remember: Live Mystery Theater Experience!
DESCRIPTION:Attention\, attention! The American Historical Swedish Museum is inviting you to an event like no other! \nOn February 14th\, 2026\, internationally touring\, interactive historical theatre company\, Live History\, is putting on a performance just for the American Swedish Historical Museum. Before the Doors Open is a seated\, immersive historical mystery where time is on the brink of collapse. \nA knock comes at the door. A host arrives with urgent news: history is unraveling. Important figures have crossed into the present stripped of their memories. Their names\, legacies\, and the artifacts tied to them are at risk of being erased entirely. One by one\, these figures enter and speak—revealing fragments of their lives through monologues\, interactions\, and clues hidden in objects from the past. None of them knows who they are. Not yet. The audience must work together to determine each identity\, voting to match names to faces before time runs out. If the figures are not correctly identified before the museum doors open\, they vanish—taking their histories with them. One thing is for sure: it will be a memorable evening of games\, merriment\, and delightful conversation. So be sure to grab your tickets now for a truly unique experience! \nThis event includes a Scandinavian-inspired brunch or dinner buffet with the performance following in the Grand Hall. This is the perfect Valentine’s Day gift experience or an opportunity to explore the ASHM’s past during our Centennial anniversary year! \nSpace is extremely limited for this exclusive performance\, so grab your tickets before they sell out! Tickets are $50 for members and $60 for nonmembers.

SUMMARY:Delaware County Symphony Presents Coming to America Symphony Concert
DESCRIPTION:The Delaware County Symphony invites audiences to a special concert on Saturday\, December 7\, celebrating the powerful influence of immigrant composers who brought their talents and traditions to America.\nThe concert opens with Antonín Dvořák’s American Suite\, a charming and lyrical work inspired by the composer’s time in the United States. Acclaimed cellist Branson Yeast\, principal cello of both Opera Philadelphia and the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia\, joins the Symphony as guest soloist for Erich Korngold’s Cello Concerto- a work that bridges the worlds of European romanticism and Hollywood film music. The program concludes with Sergei Rachmaninoff’s Symphonic Dances\, a brilliant and virtuosic masterpiece- and the composer’s only major work written entirely during his years in America.\nThe Coming to America Symphony Concert will be presented on December 7 at 3:00 PM in Neumann University’s Meagher Theatre. Tickets for the concert may be purchased at dcsmusic.org/tickets
