DESCRIPTION: Nature at Night – Experience Tyler Arboretum after hours through a series of family-friendly summer evenings filled with wildlife encounters\, outdoor adventures\, guided experiences\, and memorable moments in nature after dark.\n_____\nMeet some of the fascinating animals that call Pennsylvania home. Get up close with live animal ambassadors and discover how local wildlife survives\, adapts\, and shares the landscape with us every day.\nLearn about the challenges these animals face\, the important roles they play in healthy ecosystems\, and the simple ways people can help protect wildlife close to home.\n_____\nAbout the presenter: Dawn White has worked as a naturalist and Environmental Educator for 30 years. She graduated from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Recreation and Park Management\, with a concentration in Environmental Interpretation.\nDawn started her career at the former Great Valley Nature Center in Devault\, PA\, where her fondness for birds of prey and teaching with wildlife developed. She has designed and implemented various environmental education programs for children and adults alike during her work at the Nature Center\, Elmwood Park Zoo\, and Green Valleys Watershed Association.\nIn 2015\, Dawn formed Indian Run Environmental Education Center\, LLC\, located at her home in Glenmoore\, PA\, and is licensed to house non-releasable birds of prey. She also has snakes\, turtles\, and a tarantula. These animal ambassadors are utilized in a variety of outreach programs to educate and inspire audiences of all ages.\n______\nFOR ADULTS AND CHILDREN AGES 6+\nPRE-REGISTRATION REQUIRED.  Children must be accompanied by an adult.\nWhat to expect:\nCheck in at the Visitor Center patio upon arrival\nPresentation in the Barn Loft featuring live ambassador animals\nQ&A\nRestrooms are available\nPricing:\nMEMBERS (sign in for your 15% discount!): Adult: $21.25 each; Child (ages 6-17): $17 each\nNON-MEMBERS: Adult: $25 each; Child (ages 6-17): $20 each\nACCESS/EBT HOLDERS (with ID): $12.50 each. Please present your ACCESS/EBT card at check-in at the Visitor Center.\nGUEST PASS HOLDERS (for non-members only): Adult: $21.25 each; Child (ages 6-17): $10 each.
