Then join us on Tuesday mornings this summer for a Devil’s Pool Clean-up!\nAll are welcome to attend\, and no experience is needed. SUMMARY:Discover the Wissahickon: Rolling Ridge Hike
DESCRIPTION:Meeting at Saylor’s Grove Trailhead Kiosk (view location on Google Maps)\nJoin Trail Ambassadors Dave Bonar\, Kathy Fennelly\, Jin Xu\, and Claire McGrath  for a morning hike down one of the park’s least traveled trails\, the East Falls Trail. We’ll start at Saylor’s Grove and hike south all the way to Ridge Avenue\, where we’ll cross over the Wissahickon Creek and travel back up the paved bike path. Along our trek\, we’ll pass by the Kelpius Cave\, Lover’s Leap\, Ten Box\, and Historic RittenhouseTown.\nCheck out a preview of our hike on Komoot below!  \nParking and Transit: If you’re driving\, parking can be found along W Rittenhouse Street as well as in the nearby neighborhoods. If taking public transit\, our location is accessible via the 65 bus and the Chelten Avenue Train Station (CHW line). SUMMARY:Discover the Wissahickon: Cresheim Crawl
DESCRIPTION:Meeting at Valley Green Inn (view location on Google Maps)\nJoin Trail Ambassadors Kathy Fennelly\, Bailey Graf\, Laura Bryan\, and Jin Xu for a longer hike along the Cresheim Creek tributary\, which stretches out northeast from the park and divides Chestnut Hill from Mt. Airy. We’ll explore the northern trails stewarded by Friends of the Cresheim Trail and check out some of the infrastructure they’ve put in place for the community\, such as an outdoor classroom and multiple bike boardwalks. We’ll also pass by the ruins of Buttercup Cottage.\nCheck out a preview of our hike on Komoot below!  \nParking and Transit: If you’re driving\, there are several parking options near the Inn. The northern parking lot can be accessed by Wises Mill Road from the Roxborough side of the park\, and the southern by Valley Green Road from the Chestnut Hill side. Overflow parking is in the Upper Lot on Valley Green Road. If taking public transit\, you can take the 27 bus to Henry Ave & Wigard Ave and hike about 20 minutes down to our meeting location. See map for details.\nBathrooms: The outdoor restrooms at Valley Green Inn should be available for use.\nRegistration is required for all hikes so that participants can be informed of weather or other emergency cancellations.
