DESCRIPTION:Reduce\, reuse\, upcycle at Baby Gear Group’s Pop-Up Swaptacular! Out with the old\, in with the new baby clothes sizes Premie/Newborn-5T\, as well as maternity clothing/gear\, toys\, books\, and small baby gear items – no strollers\, pack-n-plays\, high chairs\, etc\, please. All clothing should be gently used to new\, and other items in working/sanitary condition. \nWe operate the swap on an honor system\, asking that families take roughly the amount of items that they brought with them. An exception to this is expecting families! Expecting families are invited to take as-needed\, especially as newborn items/clothing are so popular to pass along. \nAll leftover items are donated locally or recycled for future swaps.

Please bring your items on hangers—if possible—to help us with organization and time restraints prior to the event. Contact us if you are interested in volunteering prior to the event. \nOn the day of the swap\, attendees will be able to browse through the “community closet\,” selecting an equal number of items to the number of items previously dropped off. DESCRIPTION:Have you ever wanted to donate your clothing to STITCH AND DESTROY? Now you can at our monthly Clothing Swaps! Bring your unwanted clothing and textiles- wearable or not- and take home something new. Any clothing and textiles left over from the swap will be used to create our upcycled fashions. Our monthly Clothing Swaps will take place every last Saturday of the month unless otherwise stated. \nWhy a clothing swap? We want to keep as much textile waste out of the landfill as possible\, but first we want this clothing to be worn by our community. While our upcycled garments are made only from textile waste (and we save every scrap)\, the most sustainable garment is what’s already in your (or someone else’s) closet. Plus\, we only have so much storage space 🙂 \nBring a maximum of 20 garments or textiles to STITCH AND DESTROY at any time during the Clothing Swap hours (noon-5pm)\, and take home as many garments from the swap as you’d like! There will be clothing that is damaged/unwearable so if you upcycle too\, this swap is also for you! You do not have to bring clothing to take clothing and vice-versa. This is a FREE event. RSVP ticket not required. Any items brought to the swap and not taken during the event are considered donated to STITCH AND DESTROY.
