On view at the Center for Art & Social Engagement in Westby Hall from October 4 through December 21, Gaia Theory, an exhibition of Emily Erb’s collage and silk paintings. Erb embeds within the boundaries of a larger-than-life human form, navigational charts such as road, topography, and war campaign maps to represent the different facets of the human physiological system. Road maps become the nervous system, topographical maps become the circulatory system, and war maps become the lymphatic system. Join us for winter light and family fun at Jenkins!

As the days grow shorter, we invite you to join us at Jenkins for a celebration of winter light! The Arboretum will be aglow with luminary-lined paths, hot beverages, and the warmth of friends and neighbors. Bundle up for a walk down to the pond while enjoying luminary lanterns, then enjoy delicious bites and brews outside the John J. Willaman Education Center. Refreshments are pay as you go.
