Schedule: Run on Tuesdays and Thursdays mornings between 5 AM and 7:30 AM based on the preferences of participants. Saturday mornings between 7:30 AM– 9 AM. Summer Harvest Festival

August on a Pennsylvania farm is pure bliss! The very best of summer fruits and vegetables are all ripe at the same time! Corn, tomatoes, squash, eggplant, peppers, peaches, summer apples, blackberries, nectarines, and sunflowers all fill our store and fields.  Join us as we celebrate all the summer goodness.  We will be offering a leisurely hayride to transport family and friends out to the fields and orchards for some August picking fun. In addition to the picking, Linvilla’s bakery will be offering some delectable treats featuring summer’s goodness. Our many acres of sunflowers are available for photographs and picking!

Let’s take a healthy stroll in the park together! Join your neighbors every Saturday morning for a healthy and empowering stroll on the Tacony Creek Park trail. On Saturdays, we meet from 9:30am–10:30am near Tacony Creek Park. All are welcome to join us for this free walking group. The trail is a paved, fairly flat Circuit Trail; all ages and abilities are encouraged to join us. Please bring a face mask and keep six feet away from other attendees. Attendees can walk in to participate or email doryan@ttfwatershed.org.

Adults’ Learn to Ride Biking Classes (ages 16+) (SOLD OUT)

Bike Container

This FREE two-hour Learn to Ride class teaches participants how to ride a bicycle.  This class is perfect for those who have never ridden a bike or who may need a refresher course!   Staff and volunteers will teach participants how to: ·        Balance ·        Pedaling techniques ·        Starting and stopping ·        Steering and shifting gears   You can bring your own bike and helmet or rent a bike and helmet for free at the class.  This class is for individuals ages 16 and up. Come purchase fresh, chemical-free inspirited local produce straight from Sankofa Community Farm every Saturday at the Clark Park Famer’s Market, now through mid-November! EBT, cash, WIC Farmer’s Market vouchers, and Senior vouchers are all accepted methods of payment (standard retail WIC vouchers are not accepted).   You can also catch the Sankofa Farm Stand at the 54th and Lindbergh Blvd entrance of Bartram’s Village every Thursday from 3-6pm!

Professional photography should be accessible for everyone. ‘ Join us at the free community photo day for a mini photo shoot of your choice. You will receive a couple of prints of your photos and have the option of digital files emailed to you upon request. Dress in your Sunday best, bring your cap and gown, or come as you are, and we will capture your special moment. Pets are welcome! We will be at the Conklin Pool for two days working with local artist Rebecca Schultz to gather name suggestions for the restored creek that flows through Conklin. From there, we will work to select a winner and submit the name to the US Board on Geographic Names. Stop by and visit our table on one of these days
