SoUL REgeneration: Healing for Growers

SoUL REgeneration : A safe healing space for women and non-binary growers and urban farmers of color.
To our hardest working land and food stewards:
When was the last time you tended to YOUR sacred garden?
This event is to give some much needed tender loving care to women and people of marginalized genders of color who are land and food stewards.
We encourage you to take a moment to exhale for yourself, and indulge in healing by Black and Brown practitioners to replenish your cup during the most demanding time of year.
Offerings include yoga, meditation, relaxation, food, & healing.
The event takes place on August 27th from 4:00-7:00pm at Awbury Arboretum Cope House.
This is a free event and will be open to the public.
We ask folks to please bring your own blankets, pillows, yoga mats, self care activities, and sound healing instruments (we will have a collective sound healing jam together!) Please make yourself comfortable and prepare for a relaxing and engaging day.
In order to create a comfortable, healing, and safe atmosphere, we would like to reiterate that it is intended for a specific segment of our community: Black & Brown women and other marginalized genders who are land and food stewards.
We plan to cap attendance at no more than 50 people total, so please be sure to register!
This venue is wheelchair accessible and parking will be available as well.
Hosted by Soil Generation, a Black & Brown agroecology coalition of women farmers and organizers working towards community control of land, food sovereignty, and healing, based in Philadelphia.
And introducing our co-host, 4DaSoil, the legal and administrative house for offering fiscal sponsorship services to Soil Generation and other Black & Brown-led organizations. Together, these organizations are supporting Black & Brown land stewards fighting climate change on the ground.
