Foraging from Pier to Green with Lady Danni

Behind Columbus Blvd (Delaware Ave) there is 1.64 miles of trail from Pier 68 & 70 lined with trees and wild plants that have edible and medicinal value. We’ll start at Pier 70 that begins at Walmart, and walk towards pier 68 and Washington Avenue Green. We’ll discuss the trees and other plants that line the route.
This is a collaboration between Wild Foodies and Landed Gentress.
To prepare for the tour you can visit wildfoodies.org and familiarize yourself with the plants in this area.
The walk itself is mostly flat with a gravel trail, but largely in the sun, so you may wish to bring a hat and water.
Although you can park in the Walmart parking lot, the tour will finish at the other pier so if your use that lot, the loop will be a 3 mile walk.
Tickets are $10 and must be purchased in advance.
Refunds are only given upon cancellation of the tour.
