Fall Migration Bird-Watching Hike

October 1 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am

Join CRC Watersheds Association, Newtown Township EAC & the Garrett Williamson Foundation for a hike during peak fall bird migration.

Back by popular demand, accomplished birders Mike McGraw and Bonnie Witmer will guide us through the beautiful 240-acre Garrett Williamson property during the peak of fall bird migration. We anticipate seeing flocks of warblers, vireos, and thrushes streaming through the woods and fields on their way to their winter homes in Central and South America and the Caribbean islands.

As an added bonus, there will be a hands-on demonstration of the revolutionary new bird identification tool added to the Merlin App developed by the Cornell School of Ornithology, which lets you immediately identify birds by their song alone. Download this free app to your cell phone prior to the event to get the most benefit from the demonstration.

Our Spring-Migration Bird-Watching Hike at Garrett Williamson sold out in a day, so sign up early for this event is sponsored by CRC Watersheds Association, the Newtown Township EAC and the Garrett Williamson Foundation. See you there!
