Who is eligible: Formal and non-formal educators who have completed the Pennsylvania Meaningful Watershed Education Experience (Pa. MWEE) Ambassador Certification professional development between 2018 and 2023 and have also completed the MWEE 101 online course.

One in-person session of your location choice; all from 9:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m.:
Join us for three 2-hour online sessions and one 6-hour in-person session to dive deeper into the Pa. MWEE framework, Pa. MWEE Facilitator Guide, and Pa. Science, Technology, Engineering, Environmental Literacy, and Sustainability (STEELS) standards toward becoming a Pa. MWEE Certified Facilitator. Investigation of local environmental issues and outdoor field experiences are included in a model MWEE.
Gain the knowledge, skills, and processes to be able to lead Pa. MWEE Introduction, Certified Ambassador, Supplemental Content and Field Skills, and Certified Educator professional development, as approved by the Pa. ELit Network’s Steering Committee.
Plan a model MWEE to learn how to assist local school districts and nonformal environmental education providers use the MWEE Environmental Learning Model (ELM) and the STEELS standards to plan and implement MWEEs.
