A class with Joyce H. Munro, Former Dean of Graduate Studies, Chestnut Hill College; Author of Untold Stories of Compton. Presented by the Morris Arboretum & Gardens.
The storytellers for this class are twelve rarely seen objects made of ordinary materials like wood and stone and cloth. They vary in form and function; some have an obvious purpose, but others are head-scratchers. Taken together these artifacts have much to say about the life and times of John and Lydia Morris at their private estate before it was known as an arboretum. Even more, they tell of the Arboretum’s extraordinary heritage. Join us for tea and madeleines as we explore stories told by objects.
